Millthorpe Cottage and Sycamore Cottage are surrounded by some charming villages, as well as the stunning scenery of the Peak District. They are an ideal base to discover the stunning landscapes and sites of the Peak District National Park.
There is always something to do or see throughout the year, whether it is outdoor activities; beautiful historic buildings to visit; taking part in local summer carnivals or just general site seeing - the Peak District has so much to offer for either a lovely weekend break or longer stay.
Slightly further away are the towns of Buxton-45 minutes’ drive and Ashbourne & Tissington an hour’s drive away. As well there are the cities of Sheffield-20 minutes and Derby about an hour, but there are plenty of beautiful and picturesque villages nearby.
